Clara Mohammed School of St. Louis is a private environmental science Islamic School located in the heart of St. Louis city at 1435 North Grand Blvd.  

Clara Mohammed School features an academically competitive learning environment that develops students intellectually, socially, spiritually, mentally and morally. The grades offered for the 2018-19 school year are grades Kg-5.  The school is organized exclusively for educational purposes and is responsible for meeting the needs of the whole child enrolled in the program.

Clara Mohammed School of St. Louis engages in such curriculum activities as environmental science, reading comprehension and vocabulary development, language arts and writing, mathematics, science, Islamic studies and social studies, foreign language, character development, after school tutorial math and reading program and extra-curricular activities. Students enroll in general coursework at appropriate grade level and are given the opportunity for specific coursework designed to meet their individual needs.

The environmental science program at Clara Mohammed School is a multi-interdisciplinary approach to environmental education, teaching students in a holistic natural environment. The program engages student in lifelong learning habits which impart environmental awareness and ethical responsibilities as custodians of earth.  Environmental science program focuses on how the natural environment functions and how human begins apply knowledge and skills to manage their behavior and ecological responsibility to live a sustainable life in harmony with nature.

The school’s organizational structure includes a board of directors, which is responsible for the day to day operations and function of the school.  Clara Mohammed School establishes a clear philosophy and set of goals that guide and affect every aspect of the school. These goals assure a coherent and articulate progression from grade to grade, while outlining a basic framework for what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and how to know if it has been achieved.

Our mission is embedded in Quranic principles, the universal application of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Our mission engages students in ecological habits which impart environmental awareness as custodians of the Earth.
